Profile Description
As a Content Writer and Support executive you will join our marketing team and enrich our websites with new
blog posts, guides and marketing copy and additionally provide support to our marketing team by reverting
back to customer queries online, through chat and on inbound phone calls.
Your responsibilities will include having an indebt understanding of our product offerings and its end use to
our clients, conducting thorough research on industry-related topics, generating ideas for new content types
and proofreading articles before publication. You will be reporting into the marketing officer / marketing
manager and ultimately to the MD of the company.
Ultimately, you’ll deliver quality writing pieces that appeal to our audiences, attract customers and boost brand
Operational Responsibilities
• Research industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews and studies)
• Write clear marketing copy to promote our products/services
• Prepare well-structured drafts using Content Management Systems
• Proofread and edit blog posts before publication
• Submit work to superiors for input and approval
• Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles
• Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic
• Promote content on social media
• Identify customers’ needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics
• Ensure all-around consistency across all communication (style, fonts, images and tone)
• Update website content as needed
• Handing inbound customer calls and ensure queries are addressed
• Handling inbound customer emails and ensure timely and appropriate reverts are sent
• Handling online chat and ensure that timely and appropriate reverts are sent

• Excellent linguistic and oratory skills in English.

• Hands-on experience in using MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to work with quick turnaround time without compromising on quality
• Strong on multitasking and a high sense of ownership
